Have you heard about Pinterest’s Promoted Pins? It’s an advertising platform where Pinterest Business Pages can pay to promote their pins to a specific demographic.
Pinterest began offering the Promoted Pins functionality last May to a selected group of large brands. Now, you can request to be added to the wait list to receive this functionality too. https://business.pinterest.com/en/promoted-pins
Promoted Pins work just like regular pins, but also have a “promoted” label that links where user can click to learn more about the promotion. Promoted Pins work on a pay-per-click basis … advertisers are charged as user click on the promoted pins.
Pinterest users with a business account will be able to:
- pick their best performing pins
- choose a target audience
- promote the pin to drive increased traffic to web pages
If your niche market includes women … Wendy and I strongly suggest signing up to test out the new Promoted Pins feature! We think this new feature is going to be a great benefit for small business’ online marketing strategies!
