Facebook Fan Page Checklist - How Does Your`s Stack Up?
Written By: June Bachman ~ 1/3/2013 9:00:00 AM

There only remain crumbs in the bottom of the Christmas cookie containers, the tree is at the end of the driveway waiting for the Boy Scouts to pick up, and the holiday lights are off the house and stored away in the basement until next year.  We’ve survived another fabulous holiday season … now what, you ask?

Well … it’s time to dive into your internet marketing goals for your business!  A terrific place to begin is your Facebook Fan Page.  Below is a simple checklist we encourage you to use to determine the state of your Facebook Fan Page.  If everything is working great – pat yourself on the back … and go create some more content!  If not, you may want to sign up for our next Facebook Fan Page class.

What About the About of Your Fan Page?

Take a look at the About page – Is your website URL the first thing listed?  Did you remember to include links to other specific pages of your website, such as your products or services?  What about the links to your Twitter page, or LinkedIN?

Do You Update Your Cover Photo Often?

Your cover photo is a great way to keep your fans interested … give them something great to look at.  And when they click on the cover photo … did you include an interesting description that offers information of value, uses your keyword phrases, and includes a link back to your website?

What Do You Have to Say?
Take a review of your posts over the past year.  Were you consistent and regular in your postings?  Did you offer interesting and useful information?  Did you include lots of images and videos for your fans to share with their friends?  Were you mindful to be sharing 80% of the time, and only selling 20% of the time?  Did you reply to everyone who posted on your Fan Page in a timely fashion?

What great tips do you have to share with our readers?  Comment below, we’d LOVE to hear them!

If you’re looking for ways to make your fan page more engaging … increase your fan base, and improve your lead generation results via your fan page – you should attend our Fan Page class that starts next week!
